This study examines the consequences of various agrarian policies and development programs on Kamoro community in Mimika Regency, Papua Province. As a result FI Mining activities, people, who were originally nomads their customary lands, relocated to permanent settlement where they introduced intensive farming systems, one which was Sago Planting Hamlet (SPH/DST) Program that brought modern sago management.
